To validate that your transcripts are being recorded, follow these steps:
- Go to Power Platform Admin Center (admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com).
- Select Manage → Environments.
- Select the specific environment you want to enable transcripts on.
- Click Settings in the top menu bar.
- Expand Product and select Features.
- Scroll to the Copilot Studio agents section.
- Turn ON these two toggles:
- Allow agent owners and editors to see session transcripts from conversation interactions in their agents — lets makers see/download transcripts in Copilot Studio.
- Allow conversation transcripts and their associated metadata to be saved in Dataverse (required for enhanced reporting) — saves transcripts to the ConversationTranscript Dataverse table.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- Not retroactive: Transcripts are only saved for conversations that occur AFTER enabling
- Not supported on: developer environments and Microsoft 365 Copilot agents (transcripts are never written for those)
